Opportunity

Aspire works with organizations to develop people and teams through experiential learning—turning workshops, simulations, and team-building activities into opportunities to learn by doing. As the company grew, its workplace needed to do more than accommodate a larger team; it needed to reflect the spirit of collaboration and creativity that Aspire brings to its clients.

The new office needed to welcome clients from the moment they arrived, provide spaces for focused work and workshops, and give the Aspire team places to gather, recharge, and connect. It also needed enough flexibility to support a growing team and the changing demands of training and team-building activities.

Response

IDD approached the office as a workplace that could embody Aspire’s way of working: collaborative, energetic, and adaptable. A welcoming reception with vibrant planters creates a memorable first point of arrival, while a dedicated training hall gives Aspire a space to bring its workshops and learning experiences into the workplace.

Flexible desks allow the work area to be easily reconfigured when larger gatherings or activities require more room. A casual breakout area with a small kitchenette provides a more relaxed setting for conversations, refreshments, and informal moments between sessions. The co-founders’ offices use distinctive wall cladding to give the workplace character while maintaining a contemporary identity.

Throughout the office, space was carefully organized to make the most of the available area while allowing the workplace to adapt as Aspire continues to grow.

Sustainability

Natural daylight and ventilation were considered in the arrangement of the workspaces, with desks positioned close to the windows to make better use of available daylight and fresh air during the working day.

Impact

The new workplace gives Aspire a physical expression of the culture it brings to its work: people coming together, learning through interaction, and creating space for ideas to develop. It supports the growing team while giving Aspire a more welcoming setting for clients and the flexibility to host more workshops and collaborative experiences under one roof.
